ggThe Girl Guides of Canada in Lethbridge had a competition and it was close:

The McCready District made 210 Squares while the Liz Hall District made 258 squares.

The girls collected yarn and made squares together and now we have almost 10 blankets from the two groups.

The Girl Guides range from Kindergarten to High School. Rachel and Brittany, are Sparks, Alyssa and Jaelynn are Brownies and Bev and Tracy are Rangers:

These girls represent just a few of the girls that helped make the 468 squares to help people without shelter in Southern Alberta keep warm.

Everyone was part of the project in one way or the other and all had fun learning to make the squares.
