Lethbridge is
celebrating its 100th Birthday this year. Blankets is
making a banner of 9 inch cotton squares with names and city
of our friends and supporters through out Canada. We are
also being joined by others around the world that wish to
say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LETHBRIDGE and show support of Blankets
For Canada in this way.
Our first goal
is 1290 squares as that is how many blankets Lethbridge
gifted in 2005 then we would like to make the full 62,000
squares and that would show how many squares we made in
Lethbridge in 2005. When we reach the 62,000 squares the
banner will be about 9 kms long. So help us reach this
goal. Send in squares for yourself and family and talk to
others to join also. Church groups and clubs are already
doing this and they will be sewn together in a group as much
as possible.
Look at just a
few that have come in so far (coming soon).

everyone. Plan to come out and see us in April at the Creative
Crafts Show.

to show their support. 100% of all donations go to Blankets

We do not publish our meeting location … we meet in a church
and at last minute may have to change venue if a funeral or
other function needs to happen on our “Bee” day … so please
contact us for location. If there is a change in venue, we
can only notify those we KNOW were planning on attending,
and we don’t want to miss you!
Changes to meeting dates will be posted as soon as we know
them. Keep checking the website.
